History of Camp Unique
Camp Unique was founded in 1977 by Bob Cavalli, the former Athletic Director for the Town School for Boys in San Francisco.
For the past 16 summers, we have operated on the beautiful 63 acre campus of the Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley.
While our program has grown and changed a great deal over the past three decades, one thing that has remained consistent is our outstanding staff and their commitment to providing the highest quality camp program possible.
Bob decided on the name "Camp Unique" when he realized there were no other camps in the area that provided a comparable program -- 30 years later, there is still no other place quite like Camp Unique.
